Just so as you know.
Just to inform anyone who might be thinking of having a table at MABF this year but hasn't quite got round to booking one yet, there are only a few left. We hope to arrange room for a small handful more, if we can, but it won't put the numbers up by much. If you want to book, go to the 2014 Fair page and to the booking form from there. Soon.
Just so as you know.

It's good to see that the number of book arts fairs is thriving. After last year's fair at BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Arts, another has been scheduled for this December: ARTISTS’ BOOK MARKET AT Friday 5 & Saturday 6 December 2014
10.00-17.00 CALL FOR EXHIBITORS For two days only, BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead plays host to a national two day Artists’ Book Market. Submissions are welcome from artists, bookmakers, small press publishers, artist’s groups, zine artists and bookbinders. APPLICATION DETAILS Deadline for submission: 1 October 2014 Selected applicants will be notified by 8 October 2014 To secure your stall the exhibitors’ fee must be paid by 17 October 2014 Exhibitors’ fee = £60 per table (90 x 180cm) For further details on how to apply and to download submission forms please go to: www.balticmill.com or contact the organiser, Theresa Easton theresa_easton@yahoo.co.uk . Liverpool Central Library hosted the Liverpool Artists' Book Fair on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th July, in a truly British mix of endless rain (Friday) and glorious sunshine (Saturday). The children's circular Discover library was a lovely venue for the event and I think both exhibitors and visitors enjoyed their time there. The exhibition of artists' books old and new in the Hornby Library (which finished on Sunday 6th) was also a delight, with some works suspended above the room.
The organiser, Simon Ryder, hopes to be able to hold the fair again in 2015, . |
Hello there
When there's new information concerning the Manchester Artists' Book Fair, or anything else to do with book arts that we think might be of interest, we'll make sure it turns up here. Archives
